I've come to the conclusion that not only does there need to be more resourses ( internet sites, support groups, books ect.) But there also needs to be more people willing to listen. When you think of a miscarriage your more likely to think of an adult having a miscarriage. Not a teen but the fact of the matter is that over 80,000 teens have miscarriages a year... We do all realize these pregnancies were not planned and that we may not be ready for this but knowing a baby is growing inside of you really does change how you think. It gives you some sort of belonging. I'm not saying that teen pregnancy is completely acceptable, but having to feel the pain we feel, and not having a way of support is very difficult. and often times teens are drawn to drugs, or alcohol, because that is their way of escape. I think that someone needs to research this topic more, put more information out for teens. A miscarriage is a very hard thing to go through and the less support we have the harder it gets. I'm ready to do what it takes to get what we need. This topic is very important to me... We all know what needs to be done, now we just have to do it....
